Pretty scary out there.
Every day the news gets a bit more grim when it comes to the economy.
Panic has begun to strike many folks who are really struggling for answers on what to do next.
What’s going on affects us all. But I want to remind you of something you already know:
*** This too will pass. ***
Yes, that’s optimistic. And why not? We’ve seen worse times. We are still alive and breathing. Any day above six feet under is a pretty darn good day if you ask me.
But hey… I’m not clueless. I’m affected just like you. I have just decided to take my dad’s best advice:
“Son, arm yourself for the tough times, but always be thankful for what little time you’ve been given.”
Think about that.
Would you be willing to let me do my part and try to help?
While I can’t bolster the economy, I can certainly share many tips with you on how you can save some bucks doing the very thing we all need to do during times like these:
Getting lean and healthy.
Believe it or not a healthy and fit body aids in being prosperous. You get more done. You’re in a better mood. Studies show you bounce back from adversity better when you are in shape. You know all of this.
Beyond all that, you feel in control… at least in control of “something”.
Isn’t that a powerful feeling? Knowing that no matter how bad it gets “out there”, in HERE — inside you — there is always a measure of control? You bet. See…
Being fit is a measure of power.
Let’s talk about two today. Two great ways to increase your power and help you save some bucks, get into better shape, and perhaps put a smile on your face.
Let’s start with your arms.
Men and women both want toned arms. Arms are the easiest muscle group to exercise. They do not demand a great deal of stress on the system. You can do it at home (about to tell you how.) And they’re fun to work.
I did an interview with one of the biggest fitness writers in the biz last week: Nick Nilsson. Nick is like a mad scientist when it comes to inventing really cool exercises. I’m serious: Half of what Nick does I’ve never seen anywhere.
Best of all, tons of his exercises can be done at home… no gym fees. No expensive equipment. Some of his exercises require gym stuff, but many do not.
Anyway, Nick shared this killer arm exercise with me that you just have to go see –

Nick’s Arm Exercises
There’s several exercises on the page. The first is a monster! And it does require a barbell (you just don’t curl it.)
But the one I like for home use is the one at the bottom of the page. Anyone can do this, and you can use a cool trick I learned from another friend: the milk jug.
Take an empty gallon jug, fill it with sand and then pour water inside. Just add water to make it heavier. Then add small rocks to make it heavier still if you need to.
Presto: Home-made dumbbell. It works well with Nick’s second exercise.
If you want to check out his entire series of exercises, you can do that here too:

It’s never a bad time for better arms.

Besides the typical, “Oh, this is quick and simple,” and “I really love the new SNAPP System,” etc… you’re saying…
“Jon, you just cut my food bill in HALF!”
Well, I didn’t plan on that.
I’d love to tell you it was all part of my master plan to help folks save money and lose bodyfat at the same time.
But it just so happens to be the EODD SNAPP System is about the cheapest nutrition plan for fatloss there is.
Healthy fatloss I should say. Anyone can lose muscle mass and water on a cheap nutrition plan of noodles and peanuts.
But that’s not the deal here.
So, for less than half a week’s groceries you can save half the cost of groceries every week for life.
Give or take of course.
Now that’s a great way to fight back, save bucks, and still get a better bod.
